1. Introduction

Welcome to Roots Shop!
Your use of our platform and services is governed by these Terms and Conditions. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these terms.
Please read them carefully.

2. Account Registration

To place orders or access certain services on Roots Shop, you must create an account by providing accurate and valid information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully liable for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Products and Pricing

Roots Shop strives to provide accurate product descriptions and pricing.
However, we cannot guarantee that all information will be error-free. In the event of a pricing error or product unavailability, we reserve the right to cancel any order at our discretion.

4. Orders and Payment

  • Once an order is placed, you will receive a confirmation email.

  • Roots Shop accepts the following payment methods only:

    • Visa cards

    • Mastercard cards

    • Tabby (Buy Now, Pay Later service)

  • Payment must be made in full before goods are delivered.

  • We reserve the right to cancel any order if there are issues with payment or product availability.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Roots Shop provides delivery across the UAE through Jeebly Next Day Delivery (NDD) service.

Delivery Rates :

  • UAE (Standard): AED 17.36

  • Remote Areas & Abu Dhabi Western Region: AED 41.52

  • Return to Origin (RTO): AED 13.07

Additional Details:

  • Cut-off Time: 4:00 PM (Monday–Saturday)

  • Weight Limit: Up to 5 KG (AED 2 per additional KG, max 20 KG)

  • Rates: All prices include VAT & applicable fees

Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed, as they may vary based on location and product availability.

6. Returns and Refunds

Return Window: Customers may return products within 14 days of delivery, provided items are unused, in original packaging, and in resellable condition. Certain products (including perishables, personal hygiene items, and custom products) are non-returnable.

Return Fee Responsibility (AED 13.07 RTO Fee):

  • Vendor Pays if the item is defective, not as described, wrong item delivered, or if there is a vendor error in labeling/packaging.

  • Customer Pays if the return is due to change of mind, incorrect delivery address, or customer unavailability at delivery.

  • The applicable return fee will either be charged to the vendor or deducted from the customer’s refund, depending on the reason.

Refunds: Refunds will be processed once returned items are inspected and approved. Refunds are issued to the original payment method (Visa, Mastercard, or Tabby).

7. Warranties and Liability

  • Roots Shop does not provide warranties for products except those explicitly stated by the manufacturer.

  • We will not be liable for any damages or losses arising from the use of the platform or products, except where required by law.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All content on Roots Shop (including text, images, logos, and software) is the exclusive property of Roots Shop or its licensors.

  • Unauthorized reproduction, redistribution, or use of any content is strictly prohibited without prior written consent.

9. Privacy Policy

  • Your personal information is protected under our Privacy Policy, which details how we collect, use, and safeguard your information.

  • By using the platform, you agree to the collection and use of your data as outlined in the Privacy Policy.

10. Modifications to Terms

Roots Shop reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
Changes will be posted on the website, and continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.
